My new blog picture was taken at Kairakuen Park in Mito- one of the three most famous parks in Japan. During the month of March the ume (plum) blossoms are in full bloom. The park was beautiful with shades of whites and pinks everywhere.
The first week of April will mark the beginning of sakura (cherry) blossoms. Looking forward to walking through the sakura tunnel on the famous Hewa Dori St. in Hitachi.
